I teach in a small town. I couldn't put my face on Tinder without it reaching a parent by Friday. Here people read me before they see me, and I decide what's visible. First app where meeting someone didn't feel like risking my job.

"Write 500 words about yourself" is the worst sentence in the English language and I nearly closed the tab. I mean there is an option to write on a blank page - if you want to, but thank god it has other, smoother writing options. I've spent longer picking photos for apps that got me nothing.
