The match moment on the last manuscript in your feed

Match on the last manuscript in your feed, and the moment of the match now plays all the way to its end. Until now it broke off halfway, and the screen of an empty feed took its place.

The match moment that reads your manuscript

The match moment that reads your manuscript

That moment now reads your manuscript the way your match did. The page travels down through your words and eases nearly to a standstill as each line they marked reaches the middle of the screen. The mark draws itself right there, where they left it, and the page keeps going. Before, no more than three of their marks came back, one at a time and apart from the text. When there are many, the page lingers over as many as it can and draws the rest as it passes them.

The match card with the photo already in place

The match card that ends it now opens with your match's photo already in place. The photo used to arrive a beat later and stretch the card taller as it landed.

Replies to long messages in Telegram on a Mac

Inside Telegram on a Mac, a reply to a long message in a chat showed a blank band, sometimes a tall one, between the quote and the reply itself. The reply now sits right under its quote.

A new paragraph above a drawing

A new paragraph above a drawing

Finish a paragraph in your manuscript that sits just above one of your drawings, press Enter, and a new paragraph opens between the two, waiting for the next sentence. The drawing stays where it was. Until now the cursor jumped straight onto it, and the thought you were in the middle of had nowhere to land.

A line under a section title

A line under a section title

Write a section title and press Enter. When the section begins with a drawing, an empty paragraph now opens above it for the first line. The cursor used to land on the drawing itself, which offered ways to change the picture to someone who only wanted to start writing.

“Choose plan” opens the plans

“Choose plan” opens the plans

Tap "Choose plan" on the note that your gift period has ended, and the plans open with your discount already taken off. That tap used to lead to a page that did not exist, and the discount sat there unused. A discount link from an article now does the same, opening the plans with the discount in place instead of leaving you on the home screen.

Telegram friends by first name

Telegram friends by first name

Friends who joined through Telegram now appear by their first name, both among the people you invited and in the note telling you someone has arrived. Each of them had been a string of stars and letters that belonged to no one. When Telegram shares no name, the line reads "A Telegram friend".

Your phone stays quiet in the app

While Anketta is open in front of you, word of your matches and messages arrives inside the app and your phone stays still. It often buzzed anyway with a notification about something already on your screen. An email about unread messages could even reach you while you sat in that very chat.

A steady start inside Telegram

Opening Anketta inside Telegram when it takes a while to start, you no longer meet "Anketta is updating…" halfway through. The app now waits for sign-in to finish, where before it gave up too early, reloaded and began signing you in from the very start, sometimes over and over.

The language list that folds on a second tap

Animated
The language list that folds on a second tap

Choosing your language at the very start of sign-up, you can now tap your choice a second time to put the list of languages away. Until now it stayed open under your finger until you picked one or touched somewhere else on the screen.

Links that lead out of Anketta inside Telegram

Inside Telegram, a link that leads away — the form where you suggest an improvement, a post in the channel, a page on another network — now opens through Telegram itself, the way any other link there does. Before, a tap on one of them could lead nowhere.

The suggestion sheet without an address that isn't yours

If you signed in through Telegram, the sheet for suggesting an improvement showed you an address that was never yours and offered to copy it. It shows no address now, only a shorter invitation to tell us what you would change or which bug you ran into.

English translations of the sign-up documents written in Russian

English translations of the sign-up documents written in Russian

Reading Anketta in English, you reached the screen where you accept its agreements and found three documents written only in Russian. Your consent to the processing of personal data, your consent to hear about offers and the rules behind your recommendations now each open in English, with a note at the top that the Russian original is the one that binds. The original is a single tap away. The same three translations are on anketta.app/legal. On that screen, the links under each agreement now carry the names of the documents they open, User Agreement and Privacy Policy, where one of them used to say Public offer.
