Fixed the login page — the form was collapsed to zero width on desktop, and requests were being sent to the wrong address. Both issues came from the recent sign-in integration and are now resolved.
The app now has real accounts — sign up with email, sign in with a one-time code, and your session sticks around between reloads. Your onboarding data syncs to the server, the editor auto-saves your manuscript, the swipe feed loads real manuscripts from other users, and chat messages are persistent. Chat is now real-time — you see new messages instantly without waiting, with a typing indicator when your match is writing. If your connection briefly drops, the app falls back gracefully. Everything rolls out gradually, so nothing changes until the rollout reaches you.
Fixed the "highlight what you liked" tooltip on mobile — it no longer wraps to two lines and stays readable on small screens.
New users now start with the light theme by default — easier on the eyes for onboarding. The date picker snaps more firmly so you won't overshoot your birthday. Text selection in the practice bio feels smoother — the highlight grows gradually as you drag and snaps to full words only when you lift your finger. Strikethrough lines are thinner and less distracting. Slider thumbs are bigger so they're way easier to grab on a phone. The bio writing step only asks for 30 words minimum instead of 50. After finishing onboarding, your name shows up in the greeting and your bio entries appear in the editor instead of placeholder text. In chat, the keyboard no longer pushes everything offscreen on mobile. The practice bio now shows Russian text when the app is in Russian. All screens have consistent layout on desktop — buttons and content are centered at 3/5 width.
Now you need to highlight at least one thing you liked (green highlight) before you can swipe right or tap the heart. The heart button starts dimmed until you do — tapping it early shows a gentle hint. Rolling out gradually.
Fixed a bug where some users saw an infinite loading screen or blank dark page when opening the app on slow connections. Both anketta.ru and the manuscript app now show the brand name immediately while the rest loads in the background.
