Payment confirmations are now going through reliably — a signature-check mismatch was preventing our payment provider's updates from being accepted, which left subscriptions inactive after checkout. Also fixed an edge case where cancelling and resubscribing could silently apply a previously scheduled plan change.

Your subscription now reliably activates the moment you pay — no more seeing "free plan" after a successful payment. If you cancel a premium plan while keeping lifetime access, you now keep the premium features until the billing period actually ends instead of dropping down immediately. Expired subscriptions are also properly enforced now.

Moderation notifications now match the brainstormed design: flagged sections get a colored border with a subtle gradient, sensitive words are blurred individually (not the whole section) so you can see what to fix, the editor auto-scrolls to the first issue when you open it, and a floating "You're good to go" badge appears when everything is resolved. The rejection badge moved from the "Start Reading" button to the "My Manuscript" tab where it belongs.

Getting started is simpler — write one short bio entry instead of three, no more skipping allowed. Everyone gets 3 free swipes to explore. After that, fill out your manuscript properly and unlock 6 bonus swipes. Once those run out, you'll get 3 fresh swipes every day — or subscribe for unlimited access. You'll also get a push notification the moment your manuscript is reviewed, so you never need to refresh and check.

A declined card or payment error no longer kicks you out of the pricing screen — you stay right there and can try again immediately. If the payment form can't load (spotty connection), you'll see a brief error message instead of silent nothing. The payment form now retries loading after a network blip instead of staying broken until you refresh. Expired subscribers no longer see a misleading "Resubscribe" button — it now correctly says "Choose Plan."

Manuscript moderation feedback now matches the original design — flagged sections are wrapped with a subtle colored border, sensitive content is blurred until you tap to edit, and each hint has a lightbulb icon so it feels like a nudge, not a warning. You'll also see the right message for each issue type instead of a generic "needs editing" line. When all sections are fixed, a "You're good to go" confirmation appears at the bottom. Processing results now arrive in real time instead of on a 5-second delay.
