Tiny fix for the "Early Supporter" badge on your profile. The italic headline ("Early Supporter" / "Один из первых") was rendering as a plain slanted font because the italic face of Lora wasn't actually being loaded — the browser was faking the slant. Now the real Lora italic ships with the page, so the headline finally looks the way it was designed: proper calligraphic italic, with the cursive flourishes in both the English and the Russian version.
Selecting text in a manuscript is now instant. Instead of the half-second long-press iOS and Android normally require, a selection starts after a 100 ms tap-and-hold, or immediately the moment you start dragging diagonally across the text. The highlight uses our own amber selection color with no blue iOS overlay on top, and it always snaps to whole words — your selection never stops in the middle of a word. A single tap anywhere outside the selection dismisses it. Applies everywhere you can highlight text: swiping, the onboarding practice step, and match manuscripts.
A round of polish for yesterday's Early Supporter badge and the onboarding flow. The badge now has its own palette for the light theme — the gold reads properly on the cream background instead of washing out into the page, and long-pressing the badge no longer shows the iOS text-selection highlight. We also stripped out the heavy filter and blur effects that were behind the noticeable lag when switching between light and dark themes, so the toggle now flips instantly. On the onboarding name and city steps, the Continue button now sits directly above the keyboard on iOS — no more floating in the middle of the screen with a big empty gap — and tapping the city input always pins it to the top so the suggestions stay visible.
Everyone who signed up while we were still under 100K members now has a little certificate at the very bottom of their profile — an "Early Supporter" card with your member number (yes, an actual number, frozen the moment you joined). It's a small thank-you for being here early. The badge is purely ornamental and only appears for your own profile. Once we pass 100,000 members, new signups won't see it anymore, but if you're already in, your number stays forever.
A batch of onboarding and editor polish. On the name step, the input now hugs the top of the screen and the Continue button sits directly above the keyboard — no more button hiding behind the iOS suggestion bar. On the identity step, the huge gap between the city field and Continue is gone when the keyboard is closed. The very first highlight or strike-through you make on a manuscript now animates the satisfying hand-drawn stroke instead of appearing instantly. The "How swiping works" tutorial has been rewritten for the current app: the static card stays put, the Pass / Undo / Like buttons are visible right away, and each button has a one-line instruction explaining what it does. Finally, the red "Needs improvement" badge on your manuscript is easier to tap (bigger hit area), its popup text is readable in both themes, and the badge gently pulses so you know it's clickable.
Two small things. In the manuscript editor, the "Add section" button now only shows up once your last section has both a heading and at least one non-empty line — previously either one was enough, so it was easy to pile up sections with a heading and no text. And if you're using the anketta.app version of the site, tapping a subscription tier now opens a short sheet that takes you to anketta.ru with one tap, where payments actually work — you'll sign in with the same email on the .ru side and finish the purchase there.
