A few small refinements. Tapping outside the "What's new" sheet now dismisses it like you'd expect. Removing a highlight you didn't mean to make is simpler now — just press and hold the highlight itself; the stroke gradually fades while you hold, the underlying text stays crisp, and lifting your finger any time before the fade completes leaves the highlight intact. The home greeting rotates through cleaner variants, and section headers in the editor are now capped at 30 characters so chapter titles line up consistently.

Two small touches that make the app feel more confident under your finger. Tapping any button — from the bottom tabs to a payment CTA to the small icon buttons in the corners — now reliably shows you the press effect (the soft squeeze and ripple from 0.144.0) before the screen actually changes, so quick taps no longer feel like nothing happened. And clearing a highlight you didn't mean to make is now safer: long-press the highlight, then hold "Clear" — the highlighted text gently fades away while you hold, and lifting your finger early leaves it untouched. A quick mistap can't delete it anymore.

Lighter on cellular

App updates feel snappier now: when a new version ships you see what's new immediately instead of waiting a few seconds for the "Read more" sheet to load. Cold opens download less data, the readers tab loads ~95% faster (cards render first, full reader content only when you tap), the settings tabs that show payment history page in instead of dumping the full list, and a few rough edges on share-link probing got tightened up. All under-the-hood — the app just feels lighter on cellular.

Buttons feel alive

Every button in the app now feels alive. Tap anything and you'll see a soft ripple radiate from your touch, the button gives a tiny squeeze, and many phones add a brief buzz under your finger. The result feels closer to your favorite native apps — clearer signal that your tap landed, even on quick presses.
